Enjoy the magic of the holiday season downtown this year! We invite you to bring your friends and family downtown to experience all the fun activities, great places to eat and unique shops with specialty gift options for everyone on your list. There will be activities and special events every Saturday beginning with the “Lighting Ceremony”.
The St. Joseph Downtown Association will host the Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 25th at Coleman Hawkins Park in Felix Street Square beginning at 5:30 pm. The holiday party will commence with a festive DJ in the park, Santa will make his appearance alongside the MidCity Excellence drumline, and our new St. Joseph Chief of Police, Paul Luster will turn on the lights and kick start the firework show.
This is also Small Business Saturday. There will be Pop Up Shops in the Downtown Concession building and dining and shopping promotions at the various downtown businesses. Carriage rides will take visitors through our city streets, showcasing our historic architecture and marvelous holiday window displays.
Nov 25th – Saturday
Be sure to check the 2023 Downtown Holiday Schedule for a complete list of activities and events!
