Death Cafe – Coffee, Cake, & Conversation

At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink coffee/tea/etc. and discuss death. This is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.
Death Cafe works to increase awareness of death with a view to help people make the most out of their finite lives. It’s a safe place to talk about whatever is on your mind related to death and dying. This helps break the taboo of talking about death. Death can be a normal topic, not a morbid one.
Free event. Cupcakes and water are complimentary as you chat. Toe Beans drinks (coffee, tea, lemonade, smoothies) will be available for purchase. RSVPs can be done on Facebook or sent to deathcafestjoe@gmail.com
